Is there a list of pool inspectors and certifiers in Hunter, Newcastle & Central Coast (NSW)?

Before a sale or new lease, the pool must also be registered on the NSW Swimming Pool Register, separately from the compliance certificate. A NSW certifier can usually also advise on what to fix before a reinspection, rather than just failing the pool outright. An E1 certifier's inspection checks the barrier: fence height of at least 1.2m, no gaps over 100mm under or through the fence, and a gate that self-closes and self-latches.

Inspectors also look for a clear non-climbable zone around the barrier, free of pot plants, furniture or anything that could give a child a foothold. Most fails on a NSW inspection come down to gate hardware, small gaps in the fence, or climbable objects left in the non-climbable zone. Certifiers accredited under the E1 category are listed on the NSW Fair Trading register of building and development certifiers.
